Quiet Peace

An evening walk, the air softly warm
Bathed in the gentle glow of moonlight …
Each step feels weightless, the world at ease
Do you ever feel such quiet peace?

Chigwell, London

One question: Have you ever been in a situation where you can’t stop thinking about someone, even though you know there’s little chance of ever meeting them? Has that ever happened to you?

I love asking questions!
And someone might respond, ‘And, I love not answering them…’

Hmm 😊

  1. An early morning walk is always nice. The air is still cool, the world is just starting to wake, and there’s a peacefulness all around.

And yes, there have been times when I had someone on my mind that I knew I would never meet, but in a way it’s sort of nice. Longing isn’t necessarily a bad feeling.

    1. Yes, there’s something special about early morning walks… That sense of peace is almost unmatched …

And I absolutely agree, longing can be a beautiful feeling, even if it’s bittersweet …

Longing is a quiet reminder of how deeply we can feel, how much we’re capable of holding within …

I love this, ‘Longing isn’t necessarily a bad feeling’ – a quote by RB

And lastly, I wonder how you always manage to say exactly the right words, as if you’re reading the perspective I have in mind.

Thank you for your time here and for your valuable comments!

Hope you’ll enjoy the weekend to the fullest …

I’m honored to know you feel this way, Roksana, and I wish I had an answer for you. Perhaps it’s a shared love of words and verse, or maybe just kindred creative souls. 🙂

I hope you have a wonderful, peaceful, and creative weekend, my friend.
