Mirror is hazy
Let it be …
The winds are wild
But so are you …
Press on, ‘No apologies’ …
Will you rise, or stay behind?
Let it not matter …
How bright will you burn until the end
Before you’re free of all you pretend?
Mirror is hazy
Let it be …
The winds are wild
But so are you …
Press on, ‘No apologies’ …
Will you rise, or stay behind?
Let it not matter …
How bright will you burn until the end
Before you’re free of all you pretend?
Beautiful words! Loved it!! 😍
In light or shadow, I’ll rise and stay,
True to myself, I’ll find my way…. 😁☺️

We all have the ability to emit the light within us, but many don’t know how to let it out. I think that’s where creativity comes into play. Our creativity, no matter the level of talent, is how we express our inner being, our light, and how we push back on the darkness in our lives.
Lovely verse, Roksana. 🙂

Thank you so much Richard for your kind words!
I completely agree, creativity is such a powerful way to let our inner light shine, regardless of talent. It’s how we connect with our essence and navigate the shadows in life. I’m really glad the verse resonated with you
Wishing you many moments of light and creativity ahead! 🌟

Beautifully written the philosophy in a poetic language. Truly appreciate it.
This poetry invites a profound introspection into the nature of identity, struggle, and authenticity. The hazy mirror symbolizes the unclear reflection of the self, perhaps clouded by external expectations or inner turmoil. Yet, the acceptance of this haze speaks to the wisdom of embracing uncertainty rather than forcing clarity. The wild winds and the comparison to one’s untamed spirit emphasize that the chaos around us mirrors the untapped potential within.
“Press on, ‘No apologies’” reflects a call to shed the burden of seeking validation or conforming to others’ expectations. The question, “Will you rise or stay behind?” echoes a fundamental philosophical inquiry: will we choose self-actualization and rise to our highest potential, or remain tethered to illusions of who we think we should be?
The final lines probe the core of human existence, asking how fiercely we will live in our truth before releasing the masks we wear. It is a meditation on the journey towards inner freedom, where the ultimate liberation is found in being authentically and unapologetically oneself, beyond all pretence.
Best wishes and regards.
Have a blissful time ahead.
