Don’t miss me
But if you ever miss me
Miss me without any reason
Like the wind that comes and goes …
Miss me like reaching for your mug
And finding it warm
Not because it’s full
But because you once held it …
Miss me like the shoes by the door
Not loud, not calling, but there,
Familiar and still …
Like how sunlight lands
On the same chair each morning
Even when no one sits there, miss me like that
No need for words or stories
No searching for meaning
If you miss me, let it be quiet, like breath …
Don’t miss me
But if you ever miss me
Miss me the way silence holds a room after a song has ended
Not needing more
But remembering everything …
I♥️

So many tragedies happen in the world every day. Today, June 12th, a plane crash in Ahmedabad reminds us how unpredictable life is. If you miss someone, tell them now. Let them know they matter. What are you waiting for?
A very soft and emotive poem, Roksana. Also, a good reminder to never let people we love know that we care about them. The plane crash was horrific and my heart goes out to the families and friends of those who perished.

cute poem. Warmth, light and always an invisible presence…yeah, that’d be those I love and miss.

I am saddened about this tragedy. I dont fly anymore and dont miss it. But I do miss the adventures at point b and i’m glad I am able to miss them because it means that it happened, we beautifully happened — and that’s how i feel about ppl like you. Always am happy to meet creative, kind, and constant friends And they’re hard to find.

This is such a touching and tender message, Stefie!
You honour both the loss and the beauty of what once was. And the way you value some souls on earth speak so deeply of your own heart, thoughtful, rare, and full of grace
♥️♥️
