Sielvartas

If someone asks me,
‘What did you do today?’

I won’t be hesitant to say,
‘It was difficult but I could breathe the day …
It’s a hopelessness yet hope found its way …
Though I cannot predict if all will be well,
But I tried my best, trying to break through the spell …

It rained a lot today, a lot, a lot, a lot; after a long, long, long time. …. It made me a bit contemplative …. Does this happen with you when it rains?

(n.) This term means deep sorrow or ‘soul tumbling’. It can simply be a state of seemingly endless grief …

Heartbroken

What broke your heart so bad
That you had to close every door,
That you say you have a dark soul
And can’t utter the word ‘love’ anymore?

Sanhita Baruah

Quite heartbroken wounded words these are, yet so beautifully expressed, I think. So I shared with you all …

I loved these lines so much that I even tried to recite in my naive voice. About the recording and my voice, I think I sound too childish, and that makes me feel nervous about it. It might sound boring to some, and it’s a bit dramatic also, as if I was actually telling you

I hope you know this …

Love & Light,

Zen Zone

A man doesn’t need brilliance or genius, all he needs is energy

Albert M. Greenfield

Keep a little place,
Like a little ‘zen zone’ for yourself
Have a cup of coffee there …
Do some mindful drawings …
Read some books …
Write some poetry, musings, or something philosophical …
Or do nothing …
In midst of strangers
It can become a little mindful meditation
With every sip of bliss ….

Keep a little ‘zen zone’
For you
Feel the crave to be there
And come here when you need to be ….
But before you leave
Define how you prioritise yourself
Over every other things ….
And do not make it an easy place
Where you can find an escape
Whenever you feel like …
Rather make it special
As you would make any other thing special
And keep it as sacred as
It’s supposed to be for creating
Little ‘Zen Zone’ for yourself ….

Here’s one of my little ‘Zen Zone’ …
Where’s your little ‘Zen’ Zone’ place?

.

Zen Zone
“Your introvert zen zone is an area where your senses need to be soothed by their surroundings — the key word being “zen.” For instance, you should be able to practice mindfulness meditation there if you wish.”

Captivated

This love-story is stuck on a chord in my heartstrings …

Detached Attachment

Shalimar

I was waiting
For you
And you didn’t show up
while my odes started to burn …
A heartache …

After a while,
There a humble person came along ..
Seemed so at the moment …
I asked him to take a picture of me and
There I sat at the corner of a bench
In the garden …
Took some time to
Get my mood toned
Up my unsettled face …
There the man waited patiently …
A gentleman ….

Once it’s all set yet unsteady
As I was,
I heard the man said, ‘Ready?’
Twinkled at him and said, ‘Yes’
Smiling …
With the chilly breeze that was
Passing through
I preferred my warm
Jacket kept aside
And my heavy heart smile
For the warmth I needed ….
A harmony ….

Later on I welcomed a friendly
Conversation with the stranger
He seemed to like all of it …
My chitter-chattering
And laughter flowed freely, naturally …
Then we started walking
In the garden, blooming all around
An attachment ….

The balance was the two umbrellas
For each of us,
His violet, mine yellow one
We were walking and talking
Keeping the in-between distance mindfully yet our heart-felt notions were quietly replaying …
The undefined mysteries of the world, meanwhile …
Letting love in our heart, unknowingly …
After a while, we faded into our different paths
Just two strangers with memories
A detachment ….

Tell me, what is that one odd yet beautiful encounter you experienced in your lifetime?

I Sense You ….

watching sunset ✿ܓsimple and shiny

In the stillness of the lake
As I keep still,
I sense you
I sense a feeling of warmth
Flowing inside me …
I sense a reflection of you
Residing inside me …
So beautiful and mesmerising …
Then
I sense the strength to move along
In various ups and downs of life
With you and you only …

Pondering

Is a reflection of you
A mirror of a beautiful reflection of me?

Or

A reflection of you
Is nothing but a beautiful reflection of me.
