Let Go, and Let Bloom
Mindful Drawing Moments by Jian Bird Creates

It’s so satisfying to host sessions like Mindful Drawing Moments’ – what began on a quiet day with a simple act of curiosity. I invited a few willing souls to join me in the pattern artworks I usually create to calm my mind and return to myself. One participant became two, and slowly, word spread. That’s how ‘Mindful Drawing Moments’ was born: gently, organically, like something blooming in its own time …

Since then, these sessions have become spaces where self-help and creativity meet. Through themes like Kaizen, Kintsugi, Manifestation, Self-Love, and Mindfulness, each gathering offers more than just art, it becomes a mirror, a soft release, a shared breath …

Our recent sessions, themed ‘Let Go and Let Bloom,’ invited participants to reflect through drawing wildflowers, free, untamed, purposeful. Dried flowers from my mother’s garden were placed on the table, not just for beauty, but as a quiet symbol: that even after loss or struggle, something fragile and meaningful can still remain …

The way the participants picked up color, poured their thoughts into shapes, and shared reflections was deeply moving. There was no pressure to be an artist, only an invitation to be present …

We began with simple prompts, one that echoed was: ‘Never mind what they’.
Almost all said: ‘think’.
And so the letting go began …

From releasing judgment to choosing kindness, from holding space for others to forgiving ourselves, each voice in the circle added something honest and real. The drawings bloomed with color, but more importantly, so did the people …

The session closed with open hearts and softened edges. And with each event, Jian Bird Creates now offers a Certificate of Participation, a small reminder that showing up for yourself is something to honor …

Warmly,

Go My Way

Today, I poured watercolours onto the paper. I didn’t control the flow. I just let them move, soft, wild, honest …

It felt like life. Sometimes, it makes no sense. But still, I move with it. I let it run through me. I follow what feels true, even if no one else understands it …

Nothing made sense today. Nothing went as planned. But I chose to go anyway.
Go right. Go forward. Go my way …

Because even when nothing goes right,
I can still go right …
In my own way …

That Yellow

She paints grace
In glowing yellow …
As the brush-strokes
Softly glide through her skin …
Hers is a delicate face
Soothing and serene;
Tread with a gentle touch
In colors unseen ..
That yellow color girl
In tranquil pose ..
She’s a grace …

Yellow is my favourite color … which color do you like most?

Mini Mountain – Painting

This small little artwork in standing frame was chosen by one of my favourite friend for one of her favourite person.

So I wrapped it with all the things that I usually send with the painting, few JBC cards, greeting cards and a hand-written note as a token of gratitude.

My friend received the packet with gratitude and her favourite person received the Mini Mountain painting with grace and appreciation from her.

I remember, I shared one photo image of this Mini Mountain to my friend the day before I sent it to her, and I told my friend, ‘If she (your fav person) keeps this little piece in an aesthetic manner, it’ll be a great fit for any corner of her home’ ….

Then she told me, ‘You know Roksana, your little artwork is going to a home where they’re pretty cultural minded people and they design the walls of their home with different paintings from different categories, such as paintings from famous artist Rafiqun Nabi (Ranabi) and others. And I’ve chosen your art for their home.’ I was speechless; I didn’t know what to say. I was feeling shy and a lot overwhelmed … Thank you Joya for choosing JBC artwork for such a beautiful artistic home.♥️

After three days, my friend sent me a photo of the corner side-table where this little Mini Mountain has found it’s precious space, and my friend wrote to me, ‘Your painting, in the right place now.’

I loved that so much –
I looked at the image carefully and I found –
Sufi darbesh in white attire …
Buddha taking a peaceful nap …
George Harrison’s famous Bangla Desh cassette
A vintage old-fashioned black land-lined phone
A photograph of a young girl …
And many more souvenirs and antiques …
In midst of all these, my mini mountain painting … Isn’t it amazing?

My happiness knows no bounds …
I’m happy that they received my little artwork with joy in their home as it indeed brought joy in my heart creating it.

I love these stories of JBC paintings and artworks ….
These are like love-letters to me …

I hope you love the JBC love-stories too …

A Story of Paintings

These two little authentic and original artworks, titled ‘Shiny Mountains’ were done on plain color fabric using acrylic paint and metallic paint …
And then I embroidered my favourite pine trees on these …
And then I used wooden standing frames to put these little paintings inside of the frames …
And then I’m happy with the overall presentation of my little beauties …
And then some people love these so much that they keep these in such an aesthetic manner to make a corner of their home artistic, just like this …

It might be a quite insignificant tale for others,
but it’s never an insignificant story for me. The act of creating art serves as a means of healing for me and a way to exist as myself and in this journey I’ve found solace and a renewed sense of purpose.

It’s so humbling that I feel like I keep on creating and sharing my artworks for each and everyone.

I love these stories around Jian Bird Creates’ artworks and paintings.
Truly life is about creating yourself through everyday stories. And I’m very happy that my stories are being created by Jian Bird Creates, a humble brand based out of a room in the Dhaka city of Bangladesh.

Thank you warmly, and for your love, honour and support in JBC artworks.

Jijivisha

The cosmos is within us
The dance is absolutely amazing
Abundantly fabulous …

Imagination is great
For the knowledge we possess
The inner child returns to find
A new era of time …
Becoming a wild free soul, fabulous …

The soul has the rhyme
From the time it’s born …
Listen to the Talisman of your own,
Daydreaming in this cosmic energy,
Travelling to the worlds, fabulous …

Let the universe find
The questions you have,
The answers you need –
All are dwelling inside
Waiting for a spark to
Find its magic, fabulously powerful …
A new pathway to excellence…

You belong to the mysterious space
Your dreams are coming back to you
There’s a song called cosmic abyss
From the beginning to eternity
The eternal flame, that’s fabulous …

You Live Once – A Painting

Live life adventurously. You live once.

#JianBirdGallery❄️

I hope you would love this song which I have added in my this painting work in progress video. It’s one of my favourite.

I love this song, ‘Live More & Love More’ by Cat Burns. I love it’s melody and energy.

It tells about starting whatever it is you want to start and doing whatever it is you want to do in life. Because we only have one life, and we deserve to live it to the fullest. Such a positive powerful song.

It beautifully expresses to find a balance between growing ourselves as individuals and sharing our love.

“If there’s something you wanna do, just do it
Don’t let your head stop your heart from moving
If there’s someone you wanna talk to, talk to ’em
Who knows who we’d be if we just
Live more and love more
We all just need to live more and love more
So hug your kids, tell them you love them
Have some heart but make sure it’s open
Play by risk ’cause time gets stolen
Maybe speak less and listen more
‘Cause life’s too short
You only have one
It might sound cliche
But your life can start when you choose it to
When you choose it to” ….

Another song that I love so much is ‘Fix You’ by Coldplay…. Love these lines so much,

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you’ ….

Isn’t it beautiful?

What is/ are your favourite powerful positive song/s?

Cracks – A Painting

You’re shattered enough to understand that cracks are required for light to enter …

Let the light enter your soul …

We are all broken—that’s how the light gets in

Isn’t it true?
