Here NOW for today, I thought to share about the event details with you all – An event of my paintings at Dinner Party, Brooklyn.

Today, at around 5:30 pm ET
If you’re near the place, and you’ve time and if you wish, you can visit the wonderful space of Dinner Party in Brooklyn for

✔️ a free flow community journaling session with reflective prompts for anyone who needs it
✔️ a display of Jian Bird Creates greeting cards and original paintings. As you know, if purchased, then half of the proceeds go towards organising Ocean Lives Matter Awareness Program with underprivileged children in different parts of the country.

Journalling Session conducting person is an enthusiastic reader and a wonderful journal writer, Minashsha Lamisa. Apart from her rigorous work life as a corporate leader, she loves to find her healing ways in journals and community service. She is kind enough to share the paintings, greeting cards and postcards by Roksana Amelia (Yeah! that’s me 😊) in her journalling sessions with different people out there.

And the place ‘Dinner Party’ itself is so cozy to get a great communal dining experience with its amazing ambience and delicious cuisine.

We hope everyone would love the service whoever will be able to join ….

      It’s a great feeling to do a community service with a greater purpose.

      The event went really well. My greeting cards went viral 😊 It was conducted by my daughter. She loves reading and writing journals a lot, and adores my painting. So blessed Alhamdulillah 😇

      4. Well, it was a pop-up sale of my original art pieces and greeting cards in Dinner Party, Brooklyn. It is a restaurant with cozy living room vibes that is hosting community sundays featuring artists and life enthusiasts.

        This happened along with a freeflow community journal session hosted by Lamis, my daughter who passionately reads and writes.

        She had some reflective prompts, such as ‘What is your hope for the week/month/year?’, ‘How do you practice self-acceptance?’, ‘What is your relationship with yourself?’, ‘How do you remind yourself that you’re enough?’ or ‘List five things that only YOU offer to the world’. These are ‘Guided Self-reflection Prompts and Questions’ prepared by the journal writer host.

        So whoever joined, they would reflect on these prompts and write about it. And the host would help them out if anyone wants to discuss about it, how to write or with any other things they need.

        And the generous people over there who joined and who came to the restaurant during that time had an opportunity to see my paintings and cards.

        In this way, they supported Jian Bird Creates’ at this event, as half of the proceeds of all sales go towards my “Play with Colors for Ocean Lives Matter Awareness Program” initiated by me with underprivileged children in different parts of Bangladesh

        Hope you‘ve got an idea how it went and what it’s all about.

        Just spreading love, light and positivity to everyone around and trying to make difference in this Global Village called Earth by our humble efforts and actions.

        I wish to make the awareness programs in different parts of the world as well.
