Sometimes
all you need is going to
somewhere quiet
and
you are my
‘Somewhere Quiet’ place
always ….
.
.
Querencia / Spanish /kɛˈrɛnθɪə, Spanish keˈrenθja, keˈrensja/
(adj.) a place where one feels safe, a place where one feels at home …
Just thought to add an audio of these verses. Excuse my terrible voice and poor sound effects🙏 I took quite a few attempts for this and lastly I thought, ‘Okay, let it be.’ 🤷🏿♀️
I know you all are kind, compassionate and thoughtful.
Thank you ✨ Smiles for you ☺️
Yes
Sometimes we do need to be somewhere quiet
A place between nature
A Place where we need not to worry about anything else

Hello Michele! Thank you so much for reading and hearing the audio. Glad you liked it. Though I might remove the audio later on. Feeling shy about it 🙈
The picture of the audio is from my last Kashmir trip. Loved to share it. The girl was looking at her mobile so earnestly. I was just observing her from a far away distance. Must have been communicating with someone through it. She was smiling or sometimes she was just looking at it and then wrote something. It was her quiet place for the moment in midst of chaos around.
It was sunset time. The whole of Dal lake was flocked with flower and fruit sellers, jewellery sellers, saffron sellers, photographers, stole and shawl sellers and many tourists and local people. I was actually amused to see the sight. The whole sight looked pretty and so happening. And there this girl was all by herself, forgetting all that was surrounding her.
Just thought to share with you ☺️.
Happy Blogging! 😊

I am so glad you thought to share with me. A beautiful backstory you have provided. Thank you! 🥰 I understand about being shy after the fact. I’ve been there. Probably will be there again. 😁 Happy writing and blogging to you too! 🌼🤗

Your heartfelt verses truly capture the essence of finding solace in a quiet place. Your effort to convey this sentiment through audio is appreciated, and your sincerity shines through. Your words resonate deeply, reflecting the concept of “querencia,” a place of comfort and belonging. Your willingness to share such personal expressions is admirable. Keep embracing your creativity! 🌟

Thanks Shanky for putting up your thoughts about my post, Querencia.
Thanks for all the appreciations.
Thoughts just seem to bubble up out of the head. As writers, we dont seem to write just for the sake of writing. And I can say, whenever I write I seem to live through it, specially poetry.
You too embrace your creativity. I’m actually amazed by your ‘Feminine and Strength’….
Keep shining bright ✨

Hi Rokasana!
The audio appears to be in English.
If possible, I’d like to hear it, more paused, in Indian, too!

Oh ho dear!
I’m sorry that it was a bit fast.
Well, I’m not Indian, so I don’t know how to say it properly in Hindi.
Plus my Hindi accent would be terrible, I know ☺️.
May be my other friends might help you….
Let me ask them…

If allow me,
a suggestion to you, Roksana,
Along with your poems, text and photos, videos, etc.,
Also include audio reciting your poems, in your own language.
I think it will be poetic, enchanting, and very beautiful!
🙂

Of course I do love poetic, and enchanting work.

I’m glad that you wrote these words to me …. I’m grateful for your humble attitude, thoughtfulness to say such kind words for this post, Querencia.
To be truth to you, I’ve been wishing to do this for quite a long time. Many times I thought if I can express deep, great emotions, feelings, thoughts within few words! I doubted that, but deep down I knew being deep doesn’t mean being long and involved. We can ponder the universe in our hearts and express it just with a few words.
Dear John,
Thank you BIG.
You brought BIG smiles to my face and heart. ♥️☺️
