A self-portrait captured
In the window’s reflection …
Streets refreshed, cars in repose,
As the breeze sweeping by …
Your absence is there deep within,
Even in the hustle of life …
A smile graces my lips in this bustling race
Thinking of you ….
Contemplating ….
Life carries me well forward
With an unconditional love for you …
Agape/ greek
(n.) The highest form of love. Selfless, sacrificial and unconditional love; persists no matter the circumstance …
actually, Roksana, your beautiful poem has shown me how I can write this poem I’ve been toying with for over six months, I’m putting the finishing touches on it now 🙂

Have you written it?
I’ll read that. I’m sure it’ll be a great one just like your other poems and expressions ….

The last line, ‘I still miss her’ was so heartbreaking for me ….

Yes. I was just passing by this building which has wide glass windows and saw my reflection and got too much excited and quickly clicked it to my face …
I have so many window reflection self-clicked portraits. 🙃
I love the reflection pictures …

The words and photograph are a perfect match and they both capture a moment in time. Did the photo inspired the words?
