Of this moment!

Only I find solace
In hues, in art and painting
That’s a little peace

  2. Any sort of creative activity is meditative and relaxing for me. Writing, painting, even tending to the flowers outside or cooking a meal. It’s an escape from the real world…at least for a little while.

    I love the piece of art and how you drew the leaves. So delicate. Seeing this makes me want to get started on a new painting!

    1. Excellent! It’s great that you find relaxation and meditation in so many creative activities. It’s important to have those outlets to escape and rejuvenate …

      Cooking is definitely an art, so does tending the flowers! I’ve a little garden in my little varandah! I feel so happy to see the flowers. And then again they’re so delicate. I’ve to care them a lot to make me happy. I would escape cooking everyday if there’s any scope. I do love to eat. It’s also an art. Tell me, ‘Yes!’ 😊
      Julia Child said, ‘ People who love to eat are always the best people’ – so, I feel happy when I remember this quote while eating a lot sometimes! I love table decoration though. It’s definitely another art! Don’t you agree Richard?

      And definitely I agree about writing..
      It serves as meditation to myself. It’s a way for me to clear my mind, find peace, and express my thoughts freely. It’s both calming and fulfilling ….

      1. I think anything related to the kitchen is a creative endeavor, whether it be cooking, table decoration, plating, or eating! It all involves the senses and how we use them.
