Yet still, It is enough …

Even if it’s just a few words from you
They fill my heart with joy
A quiet happiness that stays
Making me feel seen
Making me feel loved …

Even if it may not reflect
How you truly think of me
Or anything more than passing thought
Yet still, it is enough …

Even if it’s just a faint glow
Like the moon’s light through distant clouds
It softens the darkness within me
A quiet reminder that warmth still exists …

    1. Thank you so much Richard

I’m really glad you enjoyed both my painting and poem. Creativity has been flowing lately, and it feels great to share it. I’m glad that you’ve observed it right!

Your kind words mean a lot, they inspire me to keep going!

  1. It’s true that the words on paper or screen just cant convey the emotion behind the sentiments. Really and truly a shame and perhaps its for the best. Would we want to know if the person is just a dang good writer and can fluently express what they may not actually feel. — I try to be sincere in my expressions and but I dont think i can convey my seething anger or deep positive emotions well across. — it’s tone that missing; then expressions are heard and perceived. oh well, communication isnt perfect and even tone can come across as flat when we are feeling poorly or just very fatigued.

    1. Beautiful expression
      I loved it Stefie

You’re right! Words alone can’t always convey the full emotion, specially without tone or expression

It’s okay if our communication isn’t perfect. It’s the thought that counts

      Hope you’re fine dear! ✨

      1. TY. I am doing well. I am recovering from the hectic holiday pace but I’m not complaining. it was a wonderous time! It will stay busy. Another trip next weekend and then back to mom’s. I really dislike traveling. But, oh so much fun when I get to my destination and loved ones. — Are you planning any travel this year?
