My Dear,
Isn’t it something, how many words we’ve shared today? After all this time, I didn’t expect it, but I think, in my deepest heart, I was waiting for your letter, your voice between the lines …
Lately, my world has felt like a storm, emotionally, mentally, a whirlwind of moments and moods. But even within that, you drifted into my thoughts today. And with that thought came a soft realisation: I was still waiting to hear from you …
Perhaps that says something, not just about timing, or connection, but about how some souls hold a kind of gravity, silently, years after years. Even from a distance, they stay. They stir something gentle, something true. How they have a quiet way of returning, just when you need to hear from them!
I once read in ‘Married to Bhutan’ how being near a river can slow you down, how just standing beside water can make you feel calm and present. That thought stayed with me. And maybe that’s why your words today felt so familiar, like the sound of water flowing, unexpected yet comforting …
With warmth always,
R
Tell me, do you still write letters these days?
I♥️
One thing that we should be alert to is that handwritten notes reflect more than love and news. It can also indicate if our loved one is ill. I recently discovered that when I received a birthday card from a friend. Some of them won’t say when they’re ill but their penmanship told me that all is not well. I know it’s my cue to check on them.

You’re absolutely right, handwriting can quietly reveal what words sometimes don’t. It shows how closely and lovingly you pay attention. Not everyone would notice, but you did, a true sign of care and emotional attunement
Love to you dear Stefie ♥️

I still write letters but its mostly cards and short notes. I hope/believe my loved ones feel that seeing my heart written out in ink is warming to their spirit. But, at times, if i have a lot to say, I have to print the letter which is ok too. A photo of a printed letter is good to keep for prosperity. What’s heart-warming about notes and letters is that you can also include a lil gift — like a dried flower, a book mark, a photo, a brooch, a hand-made coaster,

That’s such a beautiful reflection, and you’ve such a great idea to personalise your note or letter with those thoughtful little touches. It’s true, there’s something deeply heartwarming about handwritten words and the keepsakes that come with them. They become treasured pieces of someone’s love, time, and presence.
I love this ♥️

I was sorry to read that life has been a storm lately, my dear Amy but my heart gladdened to read that someone reached out and you heard a message of comfort. We should all do that for our dearest ones, because we never know when they’re having a good or bad day. As for me, I think I should assume that they’re having a bad one so I know to reach out regularly. Most of my loved ones are usually busy and having good days but I never know and best to err on the best side. Unfortunately, I dont carry out that goal. I am disappointed in myself. I hope they understand and don’t forsake me.

This is such a heartfelt and sincere message. It shows what a kind-hearted soul you are, even in your own storm, you’re thinking about others and how to care for them better. Please don’t be too hard on yourself; the very fact that you hold this intention speaks volumes about the love you carry. Your loved ones are lucky to have someone as thoughtful as you
Love and light to you, dear Stefie! ✨♥️

I agree that being near water can have a calming and centering effect. I’m always drawn to the ocean, hearing the ceaseless roar of the waves and the scent of the salt air clears my head and relaxes me.
As for letters, I haven’t written a letter by hand in about 10 years. I think it’s a lost art now.

Such a beautifully reflective comment! Being near the ocean really does have a peaceful effect, the sound and smell can calm the mind … I love that too!
Yes, hand-written letter is a lost art, but maybe one worth revisiting now and then …
Try again!
